Jo-Anne is a self-taught artist. Born in 1956 in St. Thomas Ontario, she took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Jo-Anne developed an appreciation for her majestic surroundings and her spirit longed to capture the resounding beauty on canvas.
Jo-Anne has retired from teaching decorative painting after 10 years.
She has done many commissioned pieces for private collections as well as a mural in the local church which was a combined effort with one of her students and a ceiling of angels in a bed and breakfast.
The local Finch Pizzaria has many of her works on display at any given time.
